A great great grandmother was added to my family tree which added more than 100 ancestors that are not related to me. The supposed great great grandmother died before my great grandmother was born. How do I remove this whole group of people? I thought if I could delete the first connection the rest would follow but I get a message that does not allow me to do that although I was allowed to move a few individuals here and there. Then I learned that when I delete people it affects the family tree belonging to people who actually are related to these individuals. Please help.

Lo Sharon - are you familiar with the public Discussion -"ATTENTION Curators, please assist"? -- http://www.geni.com/discussions/80793 They cannot help you if the profile is private -- but if it is a great great grandmother, especially a bogus one -- you are probably willing to make her public. Suggest you post request there, and as long as she is public profile, they should be able to cut her (and her relatives) loose from your tree. Or - if you are a Pro, perhaps they can/will talk you through how to do it, if you ask them to do that instead.
