If you would like to delete the tree you added before closing your Geni account, you will need to login to your Geni account and delete any of the information you would like removed from the site, including any photos or profile information you added. You may go to your family tree view (http://www.geni.com/family-tree) and if there is an "x" on the top right corner of the node you may click on it to delete it. If you have the hover card showing in your tree then there's an option for "remove". You should start from the newest generation and work your way back. If you do not see an option for the "x" or "remove" then it means you do not have permission to delete the profile either because it is managed by someone else or it has already been claimed.
Once you have removed the information you do not want on the tree, simply select 'Account Settings' and 'Close Account' to deactivate your account on Geni.
