  Mark - Can you please send me a link to a profile that you are not able to update the living status?

  The status is missing from Jane Schwartz (my mother) in my tree.

  Do you mean my profile?

  What is a link (URL,...)?

  Hi Mark - First, I want to say that I'm so sorry for your loss.

  You're not able to edit the living status of that profile because your mother had joined Geni. However, you can let us know when a family member passes away. Go to the person's profile, and from the Actions menu at the top right, select 'Report'. You can then select 'Deceased' as the reason for the report and fill in the details.

  There is no 'Actions' menu in the profile.
