My dad just bought his first computer in January 2012 and started building our family tree. I'm so very happy he has found a hobby that benefits our whole family. Unfortunately, he has been blocked from his Geni Pro account and customer service's explanation: "Technical Details Of A Permanent Nature." Was he doing too much research? Problem with payment? Content issues? No clue.
Has this happened to anyone else? I'd like to help resolve this misunderstanding.

The only situation that can make a user suspended is breaking the Geni terms you find a link to at the bottom of every page. If sabotaging the trees of other users and deleting profiles managed by others he can also be suspended temporary by the Geni curators until customer support can investigate. In any case he can mail help@geni.com and explain the situation.

If your father is a Pro or Plus member he may create a ticket in our help area explaining the issue he is having, so that we may further assist him. As Bjorn stated we can suspend the accounts of anyone that has violated any of the terms of use (http://www.geni.com/company/terms_of_use).
I did some check on your fathers account. He is not connected to "the big tree" and does not have access to destroy for others than his own family.
