I am unable to change the email of my son! I have tried every option unsucessfully. I was able to change the email address of my daughter. Is this because my son's email address has been closed and is not recoverable (according to gamil). If so there has to be a way for Geni to allow the email address to be updated.

Geni Support Team Hello:
You would not be able to change your son's email address if he has already joined Geni. If he still remembers his password he may login to his Geni account and update his email address by doing the following:
- Go to your Email & Password settings
- Click 'Add email' and enter the new email address
- Use the 'delete' link if you would like to delete the old email address
- Use the radio buttons next to the email addresses to select your primary email address. This is the address where your Geni Notifications will be sent.
Note that you must have at least one email address associated with your Geni account. Therefore, you must add a second email address before deleting an email address from your account.
If your son no longer has access to the email address used on his Geni account and he is unable to recall his login information, he will be required to send an inquiry to subscriptions@geni.com for assistance with this.
Geni will then be able to remove his email address from his profile, where he will then be able to ask you or any other relative in his tree to re-invite him back to his tree using his current email address.
*Note for other users: If you were the only claimed/active Geni user in that tree and there is no one who can re-invite you, you will need to start over at Geni.com using your current email address.
