Hello Shalgi:
To remove an email address from a profile:
1. Click "Edit Profile" on the profile
2. Click "delete" next to the email address you wish to remove
However, if someone has already claimed that account then they will need to update their own email address by doing the following -
To update the email address on your Geni account:
Note that you must have at least one email address associated with your Geni account. Therefore, you must add a second email address before deleting an email address from your account.
If they no longer have access to the email address used on their Geni account and they are unable to recall their login information, they will be required to send an inquiry to subscriptions@geni.com for assistance with this.
Geni will then be able to remove their email address from their profile, where they will then be able to ask a relative in their tree to re-invite them back to their tree using their current email address.
*Note: If you were the only claimed/active Geni user in that tree and there is no one who can re-invite you, you will need to start over at Geni.com using your current email address.
