I want to be able to enter both the addresses/names of birth/residence/death locations for my ancestors as they were at that time with that specific division in township, parish, county and province and the addresses/names as they are now and can be located at present day maps.
Why? Because when searching and trying to confirm records in archives you often have to be very specific, if you don't want to waste a lot of time! On the other hand I find it interesting to see how my ancestors were spread geographically and to find their birth and other locations at current maps, and if possible visit some of the locations.
So there should be both a text entry box for general present day names and one for entering specific names as they were spelt and registred in those days when my ancestors were born, lived and died.
