Change email user name!

There is a loop hole in the GENI system which has meant I have not used GENI for a year or so. I am not going to pay for the product whilst none of my emails to GENI to change my user name have never been acknowledged let alone acted upon. The GENI systems has failed me because  I will have to pay for the product to raise a ticket now. But when i could contact GENI for free nothing was done. As none of my tickets were acted on a year or so ago I don't want to pay cause I am vulnerable to inactive support. I have not been able to access a huge amount of effort I put into my family tree.

 

The problem is because I signed up with an email I no longer have I cannot get into the system. Obviously you don't tend to use family tree software everyday so I have forgotten my password. Resetting my password is useless because GENI sends my remined into a black hole (i.e. an email address that noone has).

I would like GENI to sort out my problem. My new email address is jonathonbevan@gmail.com. My none active email was jonathon@distantworld.com.

My suggestion to GENI is not to use the email address as a user id - so change of email never becomes a problem.
