I am shocked to find information I entered about my family to be available in Google. That includes, photo, name, location, family, when last updated. Example is my dad.
THIS IS DESPITE all the privacy settings set to PRIVATE.
I am shocked at the blatant disregard of any privacy laws. ALSO all the links are broken.. a click on privacy policy does not bring up anything. Same when clicking Private-Tree (somewhere Geni lists that anything outside of the private-tree IS TREATED AS PUBLIC). Trying to find out what this private tree is, is impossible, since all the links to any help or policies are DEAD.
Thinking about reporting this blatant disregard for privacy information to the tech blogs. This is BS, that there is NO WAY to disable the public sharing of this information - especially when the privacy policy is not shown.
