It is the husband rather than his wife who is the child of the particular parents. How can I change this? Having Geni Basic, how can I let Geni know that this needs to be corrected?

Please try the following:
To change the parents for a person on your tree, first make sure that both parents have been added to the tree. Then click the 'edit info' button on the child's node within the Tree. Then click the 'Relationships' tab. Lastly, select the appropriate set of parents from the Parents drop down menu.
If someone needs to be moved to a different branch altogether, you may click the 'more' link within the node and select the 'Move this person' button. You will then notice the node in your 'Move These People' sidebar on the right-hand side of your tree. Navigate your tree to the area you wish to add them to and drag the node to the place you wish to draw the connection, drop them on, select the proper relationship, confirm and you are all set.

Corinne Lee Mitchell I read your answer. However when I click the relationships tab, I do not see any parents drop down menu. Is that only there if you are a geni pro?
When I tried to move this person, I immediately got a message that I do not have permission to move this person. I am the sole manager of both the husband and wife profiles. Why would I not have permission to move these people?
I see that I now cannot add any more people in Geni Basic. However I do have the husbands' parents already on my tree. I just want to move the husband to his parents. Erroneously the wife is attached as the daughter to the husband's parents. The wife's parents are not on the Tree.

Geni Support Team Hello Corinne:
You do not need to be a Pro member to have the parents drop down menu. You may have reached your limit of adding 100 people to your tree as a Basic member which is why you are unable to add anymore. I will contact you directly to get the details of the people you are trying to correct the relationship on.

Corinne Lee Mitchell I already have the parents of the husband on my tree so I don't need to add his parents. Why would I be blocked from having the parents drop down menu? I can follow through with your instructions if I had the parents drop down menu.
Am I unable to have a dropdown parents menu because it is assumed that I would be adding parents? That would prevent anyone with a similar error to be able fix it ourselves.
