Hi

I'm going on holiday to visit family in the middle of rural portugal

problem is I won't have any kind of internet connection

Is there anyway of using Geni offline to add to my tree from there

  Nope, - Geni is an internet based program.

  I am however quite sure that you should be able to find internet hot-spots almost everywhere.

  You could download a portion of your tree as a GEDCOM file (http://www.geni.com/gedcom) and import it into desktop software such as Family Tree Builder (http://www.myheritage.com/family-tree-builder).
