Please advise me in relation to removing unknown people from being profile managers and how to move from a pending proifile manager to an actual profile manager of my children.

Profile Manager a distant relation of my ex-husband. He has somehow removed me as Manager of 3 of my children and my request to be instated or reinstated as a profile Manager of those children has now been left pending for about one year. I have added family history and family pictures in the past with no problems. 

I noticed that 2 of my children have been made public profiles, which I have tried to change to private & cannot. Also this 'distant' ex-relation has recently (I just noticed) allowed a person unknown to me to become a profile manager of one of my children.

Please advise me in relation to removing unknown people from being profile managers and how to move from a pending proifile manager to an actual profile manager of my children.

  I was the manager of my family tree and without knowing how it happened my cousins name became the manager, even though it is still my email address. How can I change it back to my name?

  Suzanne, those profiles should be private now as all living profiles are private.  As for taking management control, they only thing I could suggest is being added as a manager.  The only way to take the other person off, would be to delete / recreate them or have the child (if old enough) claim them (enter email, login, change password).  To add yourself as a manager, just create a duplicate profile of your child and merge it with the other one, then you'll both be managers (http://help.geni.com/entries/469824-how-can-i-show-more-than-one-relationship-between-the-same-two-people).

  Peter, Your account will be managed by someone else until you claim it (change your password).
