My sister married a guy and I married that guy's sister. So, two siblings married two siblings.
When my sister got married, I added her in-laws immediate family as an extension off of our tree. But now I married one of the siblings from that tree. How can I "move" or "connect" my wife from her original family to being my wife? Or does her name just need to be in both places?
Does that make sense?

If you have two people who are related in multiple ways within the same blood tree (i.e. first cousins who are also married), we call these types of relationships "Cycles" on Geni.
You may use the ‘Move this Person’ button found in the 'more' link of a node on your tree. This will add the node to the 'Move These People' tray, found on the side of your Tree view. Then drag the node onto the second person to whom he or she is related and select the appropriate relationship.
Note: If you are not a Pro, you cannot choose they are the same Person (or rather, you can choose it, but it will just get you an ad for Pro). But you may be able to drag your wife to her mother or sister, and choose that relationship. Or at least, that's how it was, shortly after they removed merge-ability from Basic Users.
