I KNOW VERY WELL HOW TO UPLOAD A PHOTO, AND USED TO DO IT EASILY ON MY GENI.COM. BUT NOW THERE IS NO INDICATION OF THE WORD "PHOTOS" ANYWHERE ON THE PAGE, SO CAN'T DO THAT

  If you click the Family menu at the top of the page, you should see Photos listed as the second option.  Also, each profile has a media tab, where photos can be added for that profile.
