Is it possible to delete a familytree completely?

I want to delete a familytree because there are people adding other people to these tree,  what are no relatives from the family we are talking about, and it is going to be a mess this way. It is now, that 1 relativetree has many different families(what are no familymembers at all), what are not any relaties to each other, in stead of, that the real familytree just with the family mentioned. How can I delete this tree totally? The present tree is useless, because here are people involved who are no relatives of each other at all.... but just linked from other people.....

  Once other members join a family tree, it becomes shared tree and no single member can delete it.  If there are incorrect relationships in the tree, this can be fixed, but the idea behind Geni is a shared world tree where each person contributes to their tree, inviting in family members to grow the tree and connect into the larger world tree.  If you're looking for an isolated tree, consider MyHeritage.

  as the original person who started the tree with no  one invited to share, surely I can deleter MY TREE!

  Colleen, If you're the only person in your tree and it's an isolated tree, then when you close your account, it will delete the tree (or give you the option to delete it).
