I understood that that would limit my access to tools. What I didn't know is that it would gobble up my tree. I can only access so far and then Geni has eaten my whole family tree for free. I believed the tree was mine. Now I can't Gedcom it and I can't even see it!  I have to go back and build it all up to constantine? I am really disappointed. I wanted to spend my initial time documenting the generation just beyond my reach, the uncles, aunts and grandparents  Before I started on the tall parts of the tree. I joined ancestry.com to slow down the way things came at me so I didn't feel frantic. What a price to pay.
