There have been times where I would like to start a tree for some individual that I have genealogical information on, but I have no idea how to do that. I have my own tree, but how can I enter someone who isn't a part of my ancestral tree? My own tree is huge, and I've created hundreds of people's profiles for it, but I don't have a clue how to start and new unattached profile. It is obvious that others have done it, so what am I missing? Thanks.

Bjørn P. Brox Just add the profile anywhere as a spouse, child or sibling, bookmark it and then use the Remove connection Relationships tab under edit profile to cut it loose.
If not a Pro user you can ask a collaborator that is a Pro user or a curator to help you to cut it loose. -
