  Steven, you set your own notifications settings: http://www.geni.com/account_settings/notifications

  You should also have access to your tree to remove information, although it should all be private.  If someone added you into the tree, you should be able to contact that person to have certain information removed.  If you would like to close your account, you can do so here: http://www.geni.com/account_settings/close_account
