My grandparents divorced and then, years later, remarried, and were still married when my grandfather passed away. I haven't been able to find a way to reconnect two people who are already in the same family tree. Is there a way?
I had created 2 separate profiles for my grandfather, for the 2 times they were married, but it makes the family tree look very messy.
Probably the cleanest way to handle this situation is to only have a single profile for your grandfather (and grandmother). Set the relationship as 'married' (husband or wife, depending on which profile you are editing).
Then ...
Check out the Timeline tab ... you will see on the Timeline where one of the marriages is shown (let's assume you had the date for the 1st on the Relationship tab). Then, "add an Event" to one of their Timelines -- but be sure to add both names to that "2nd Marriage" Event. Then that 2nd marriage will show up on both of their Timelines.
