I have my own tree and appear in another tree (my cousins) but can't view the other tree?

Dan Cornett Hello, Malinda!
When the two of you independently created your separate trees, Geni does not know that you are related. The two of you need to "get connected"!
Do you have a profile for your cousin on your branch? If so, simply add their email address to their profile to "invite" them to your family branch. When they "accept" that invitation, Geni will ask them if that is the same person as they are, and "merge" those two profiles for your cousin -- as long as you use the SAME email address they use to log into Geni.
If you don't have your cousin's profile yet, but they have yours, they can do the same thing: put your email address into their copy of your profile. Then you respond and accept that email invitation.
Then you will be able to jointly work on the tree together. Just remember that on Geni your trees will then be truly shared. What you change will affect everyone else's view of the tree in your family.
... and ... once y'all connect to the "World Tree", your "family" can get VERY big! <grin>
