Geni has me listed as deceased. Is it possible to correct this?

Bjørn P. Brox Use the Contact Profile manager on the profile to notify the managers who have added your profile.
Geni are not adding and maintaining any profiles, - the users are, and they, which probably are relatives, could have marked you as deceased by a mistake. If you are interested to maintain your already existing tree and ensure privacy on other profiles in that area I suggest that you, when contacting the managers, ask them to enter the email you are using for your Geni account into that profile after removing the deceased marker.
This will give you an offer to get your Geni profile merged with that one, giving you full access to the line.
Sending a collaboration request to the managers would also be helpful for maintaining profiles outside your family group range. -
Carl Gambs I've followed your advice--three times. but have received not response and no change. I am not sure that my messages are actually reaching the profile manager, as the feedback this site provides is minimal. My siblings are also erroneously shown as deceased. If you google my name, this libel is at or very near the top of a fairly long list of hits. I' very concerned with this. What, short of hiring a lawyer can I do to get this fixed?
