Problem with adding a user when change a manager

Hi,

I wanted to add my son's email and change him to be his profile's manager . In the process it required us to create new user which then create duplication. So my son is now half brother to himslef and I have a third son with the same name as my son with unknown father (disclaimer: I only gave birth to two kids both with my husband :-) )

Can you fix it and can you fix the bug that doesn't allow adding email to existing user whom you manage?

  Irit, I can try to help you fix the issue.  Search for me in Geni and send me a Family Request invite describing the issue as you have done here.  (The family request will hopefully give me the needed permissions to fix your tree).  Oddly, it shouldn't have worked like that.. so they may have something wrong.  Normally, you would just add their e-mail to the profile and it would send them an invite (allowing them to claim the profile).
