Help, my tree is no longer.

Hello, I'm not sure what to do, I'm using my iPad, I had a lot of people on my family tree and now it's down to 12 people, I can't view my tree at all. This all started when a man asked to merge, I thought no harm, but I have since had nothing but problems, he has merged my tree with so many people without my permission, and now my tree is gone missing in action, can't view can't see anything and see he has taken over as a profile manager parts of my tree? I'm so disappointed and so unhappy about this, I was so excited when I found Geni I worked so hard on research and now it's gone, I logged in to enter all my years and dates etc and have nothing to work on. I hope you can reverse this as I feel a person is not entitled to take my hard work and claim it as theirs, why can't people do their own research instead of stealing others, and ruining long hard work.   I can't see any changes done to profile connections in your tree, - but I see that we have some merges that  have to be done in the connection between us and some of these contains connections that is somewhat different with the main line.

  Sure that it isn't the iPad's limited tree view (only a few generations) that tricks you?

  That does not help my problem, I have now been able to see my tree and it is ruined, the tree now has other people added that I did not add, this and all my problems started when the person you are Following merged my tree without my permission, and then merged duplicate copies to 51 other people without my permission. I have to say I am so angry that this person has done all this and without my permission, I thought Geni was great until this happened, don't bother and tell me that that James A Wiles Jr has the authority to do this without my permission, because he does not, he is not a curator, and he is certainly not the damn profile manager of my Tree. In reference to your above comment I have other merges to be done, I do not and did not request any damn merges. Now maybe you can understand why I am so frustrated and angry. All I want is my account ! Tree ! To not have unauthorized merges ! And certainly not have all this rubbish added to it. and it has nothing to do with my iPad.   I'm not seeing the issue with the tree - it seems pretty basic.  If there is an inaccuracy, we can work to fix that.  However, if you want an isolated tree, I suggest using MyHeritage.  Geni is a collaborative world tree designed to be merged (one profile for one person), so expecting otherwise will leave you, as you said, frustrated and angry.  We do want a accurate tree though, so if there is a problem with it, then let us know.  If it's just a problem that it was merged and you now see new branches, then that's normal expected use of the software.

  Cheryl, you were logged in with a different email address.  You had two accounts - one with a tree and one without.  I merged the two accounts into one.
