merge issues

My dad just merged one of my profiles into a profile of someone elses tree!

I didn't even know it was possible..

I can't find a way to undo the damage he had done, it's making me crazy. 

I know I'm not a paying customer, but can someone, a curator or a manager or anyone close to the all mighty can help me undo this merge?

  I merged two profiles but now I regret it.  I have no idea who the person who managed the profile is, and don't want him having access to our entire tree.

  How do I un-merge us?

  Chana, If they're outside your family group, you can remove them as manager and you can find out how they're related by going to their profile and clicking the relationship calculator.  The goal of Geni is to merge duplicates into a single tree - it is a collaborative platform.  It's rare that someone unrelated would have duplicates of your family, but sometimes people will inherit abandoned trees and are often happy to turn over management.  Keep in mind that you now have management over the prior duplicates, where before the duplicates were outside your control - this is a good thing.

  Not quite correct about removing managers: It is relationship to the specific profile that is checked, not your relationship to the other manager.
  You can both be related to the same profile as a third cousin, but if your relationship comes from two different directions there might not even show up a relationship between you two, or at least you have no idea on who this is.

  Hi

  After I merged my husbands tree to my tree, I have one wife in my

  name and my husband.  I moved my wife name to me as same person.

  I got a message that can't merge your wife to you. I could not delete

  so called my wife? Please help?

  I just merged my great great grandfather with his brother by mistake and need to undo the merge. PLEASE HELP !!   My gr-gr grandfather is Peter Dotson Birdsell and I merged him with Daniel Boriff.
