I know I did not do it ... but my grandparents are showing up twice on the tree - directly next to each other - 2 grandmas and 2 grandpas with identical profiles. I am not being allowed to merge these duplicates, saying that each has a whole family and I will lose them. It took me hours to enter with pictures, and would prefer not to delete everything and start anew. Please advise. Thank you, BB

Jeff, Geni Curator Barbara, That was weird - not sure how that happened, but I fixed it for you. :)

John Sharp I just joined and started my tree. Geni notified me of potential matches. When I merged my records appeared with duplicates descending from my great grandfather. I can't find anyway to merge the duplicates or delete them.
I probably made a novice's mistake. Can you help me?

Jeff, Geni Curator Be happy to help you John, but there are a lot of John Sharp members on Geni, so I can't tell which one you are to take a look or send you a private message. You can send me one from here http://www.geni.com/people/Jeff-Gentes/5685693775440034593 or you can post your profile address.

Margaret Maggie Ann Jones I was looking at my tree tonight and there appears to be several people on the tree that are duplicates. I am not sure how that happened. Can they be removed and I only have one tree with everyone on it? Please Advise
Thanks

Jeff, Geni Curator Maggie, I've merged those duplicate profiles in your close family.
