Timeline - how to edit

Once an event is added, how do you edit it? I had put the year in the wrong spot, so the timeline has ???? question marks where the year should be.

  If you click on an event in the timeline view on a profile you will open the details viewer of the event where you have several edit options (description, photos etc), and it is the edit link in the upper right corner that allows you to edit the date, location and people connected to the event, - including the name of the event.

  Hi - I cannot edit the timeline of my 7th great-grandfather. I did not add his profile in the first place. I want to put a date range for his first and second wife. How can I edit a timeline event if I did not add it?

  Hello - this is incorrect in 100% of cases. It appears that unless you are a manager or a collaborator of a manager on certain profiles that you do not have the ability to edit the timeline event. I can edit the timeline on certain profiles but not on all. I have submitted tickets through Geni help and sent messages to the existing "managers" to add me as a collaborator with no response.
