Some how I must have merged a german speaking family tree with mine. How do I get it off my family tree. I can't read any of it.

The information you see that is in German is activity from projects you follow (http://www.geni.com/projects), if you wish to not updates from projects you may use the filter to not show them. Please see the following link on how to filter your recent activity:
