Deny public search

I would like to change my privacy settings. I would like to deny this: Let the public search for me (profile privacy settings apply). I dont like it! But if I wanna change it, it will give me error with text:

We are experiencing technical difficulties

 

What is this?

But it didnt work and do not work today also! Why you do not let people make all thing private???

  Due to the purchase of My Heritage, this will be required anyway for all living profiles (private and non-searchable via google).  It is not the intent of Geni to not let people check this option - just appears to be a bug.  In any case, this setting change will happen regardless in the coming weeks, but you might want to try using a different web browser.  That's certainly a weird error.  I'm going to cross-post in your last discussion so that Natalie will be notified of this follow up post.
