Error message about adding

My husband's cousin sent a generated message "I;ve added you to our family tree." When I click on it I get the following error message, 

Error

Cannot merge into wife

 

He does have a profile in the tree but I can't seem to be able to send an invite constantly getting " Please try again." I have been able to invite many other family members with no problem.

Please help

  Sounds like the email address (the one your cousin added) on your husband's profile is the same email address used on your profile.  So it's trying to merge the two profiles (thinking it's the same person) since your email address is your account id.  So I expect you need to change your husband's email address to something other than the one you're using.
