I opened a free account with Geni a few years ago, and spent many months building a tree right back 300 years with hundreds of family members and photos. I have been very busy with other things until now and am trying to get back on, but I cannot access any of that data with my login. I am just prompted to pay money to open an account with a free 14 day account. What has happened? Have I lost all of this work, a lot of which I can't replicate. Can I access it and download it easily as an archive or something? Please can someone help me?

Jeff, Geni Curator Rob, you should not have lost any access to your data and you do not need to pay any money to access your tree or to export your data. Something else is going on here.. not sure what, but certainly all the info you listed is accessible to free members. Did you create a second account and are now trying to find or identify (tree match) your old account and data? That would require a paid account. Or searching... I only see a few Rob Perry accounts active and only one current (from Australia), which appears to have relatives listed. Could you clarify what your trying to do or access? Thanks :)

Robert Irving Perry Many thanks Jeff,
I logged in again and this time went straight to all the old information I created, rather than a request to purchase. It must have just been a glitch of some sort, possibly from my side.
Sorry I haven't been back sooner to thank you, a family member is dying.
Kind Regards
Rob
