Can someone PLEASE help me delete a person? I added my birth mother (I'm adopted) as my dad's "ex-wife" because "birth mother" isn't an option. Then realized it is probably screwing up other people's trees. Can someone please help!?!

Bjørn P. Brox You delete profiles by hitting the [x] in the upper right corner of a profile node in standard tree view.
If this is a profile you want to keep and just move you either use the "Move" function in the menu on the node in tree view, or even simpler: Use the parents pull-down menu in the relationships tab when editing the profile. -
Ashley Kaplewski I am just a basic user, so I don't believe there are x's in my view. But I hadn't thought about deleting her relationship to me as well. I will see if that works. If not, I'll be back! Thank you for the quick response. Standby.

Ashley Kaplewski Bjorn - I do not have the options to remove the relationships (from the EDIT option) nor do I have an "x" in the upper right corner. Any other ideas?

The [x] is only available on nodes in standard tree view and only on leaf nodes.I tried to search for your name in Geni and the user I found did not have an ex-wife profile attached to the father's profile, so you obviously have solved your case, but if not send me a message using the Geni messaging system where you tell in details what you need me to help you with.

Marie Litostansky-Guzik I have basic Geni and am unable to delete people, my daughter had a foster child I had listed and now need him removed. I did go to ACTIONS - remove and he still shows upCould you please explain to me how?

How do I delete my ex-boyfriend form our tree. My family is upset that he`s still there and so am I. I can´t remove him or delete him. Please help me out with this as soon as possible.

Peter Degn I am a basic user with the same problem (ex-girlfriend).
One minute ago i opened my tree. pressed her name and opened her profile. In the upper right corner i choose "Actions" and then "Delete profile". Gone she was ;-)

Gary Ruby Found a great uncle posted that never existed added by a cousin. I have messenger her and requested that she prove it or remove it. How can I get this removed.

Terra Kerani MacPhail I have tried to find an 'X' to delete my EX, but there is no delete function. I also can't edit his profile, even though I was the one to add him to the tree. He doesn't even use Geni or have access to his account, nor to the email I sent the invite to. I need to delete him from my tree! help please. Also, when I go to ACTIONS on his profile there are tons of option but no delete option. Please help! It won't even let me delete his photo, which is terribly inconvenient and now I don't want to use Geni anymore because of this issue.
