  Generation difference in a relationship..

  A first cousin once removed is a first cousin one generation from you, - for example a first cousin of your mother. A first cousin once removed can also be a child of a first cousin.

  Thanks a lot. In fact I could not give a meaning to this idiom and luckily enough I learned a new word. Wooof ! I consider myself bilingual but learned this word when I am half a century old. What a shame on me !
