Jeff, Geni Curator You can make pictures of you public in your settings.

As for other pictures, it will depend on who is tagged in them and their settings. If the picture is of someone that is a public profile, then the picture will be public. At least, that's how I think it works. It's public to Geni users.. I know that much, just not sure about Google, etc.
