I sent a msg on geni site to someone in another family. How will the person know to look at the msg if she doesn't check Geni site regularly? Will she get an e-mail telling her that a msg is waiting for her on the Geni site?

Jeff, Geni Curator Yes, the default setting is to allow e-mail notification when someone sends you a message. Here are the settings for notification:

Geni Support Team Users will receive email notifications if they choose to receive them.
