I have just joined Geni. I would like to search for relatives in Poland, connected with family who came to Canada around 1915. I have a few names, and dates, starting with Maternal grandmother, who was born around 1880. I speak only english, no polish. Any suggestions as to the best way to proceed?

I think the likely place to start is under the Family menu, select Lists. http://www.geni.com/list
Click to show the advanced controls and use perhaps the birth location box to define Poland. Then you can select the group pull-down to change the family group searched.
Another method might be to go to Family, Statistics and drill down on the graphs for Country of Birth or Current Location.
