I merged profiles and now everything has gone wrong. Can I regret the merges?

Jeff, Geni Curator No, you can't undo a merge, but you can get help cleaning it up. Often a merge of a tree comes with a certain amount of duplicate resolution, since you're combining two trees with the same profiles. In the early stages, it looks like a mess as the duplicates are not yet merged and you have conflicts (duplicate parents, duplicate children, duplicate siblings). However, this is easy enough to work through in most cases so that you end up with a combine tree that looks normal and expanded.
To get help, just reply back with a link to one of the profiles that needs fixing and we can try to clear it up. Here is another place you can post for such help. http://www.geni.com/discussions/80793
