When I go to my homepage to see the latest news, the download bars keep downloading stories and revisions and doesn't stop. When I go to my profile page, the tabs won't open. I have some capabilities on other pages of my profile. When I try to edit profiles from the Tree, the profile keeps loading and doesn't open. I have had a basic membership for several years and just started having this problem. I did not log out and log back in because I thought I might get locked out. I have at least one relative who is pro status; can they help? Thanks for any suggestions that may help.

Jeff, Geni Curator This doesn't sound like anything to do with basic / pro. It sounds like a web browser issue.

Rachelle Fenton Thanks Jeff. Someone suggested loading the latest version of Flash Player but that didn't help. I use IE9 with Vista software. I tested Flash and it is working. I logged out and logged back in but I still have all the loading issues that I posted previously. I cleaned temp file, unwanted cookies, and recent Geni history. I seems like I had some kind of loading problem a few years ago when you could get tech support to look into it but I've slept since then. I will try my Pro relative to see what they can find out also. Thanks....Rachelle

Rachelle Fenton I had to disable Windows Tracking Protection for the issues I had to start working again! Spent several hours figuring this one out to!

Jeff, Geni Curator Wow, interesting. Thanks for figuring it out. I was going to suggest the Google Chrome browser. I guess IE Windows Tracking Protection might be having an issue with the place they store the pictures, which I is Amazon services. Maybe the URL was not properly directed to reflect Geni. -
Rachelle Fenton I have used Netscape and tried Firefox and Chrome but still prefer IE. The help menu in the latter two were almost non existent and seemed to miss the functionality of IE so I never tried them again, although they are still on my desk top! I would think that Tracking Protection should not be a problem with Geni but it happened. Thanks for your suggestions......Rachelle
