Are nicnames (AKAs) searchable? If not, how to get them searcable?

  Yes they are.
  Make sure that you enter full names there, - it is not a nicknames field ;-)

  1. Yes, it is a nicknames field.  That field includes the suggestion, "Separate nicknames with a comma."
  2. If users are expected to type first-and-last names in that field — nicknames or otherwise — the instructions/suggestions should say so.

  I'm issuing my request here, since — as a Geni Basic user — I don't have access to the Submit a Request feature, and my suggestion is partially related to nicknames.

  I'd appreciate someone with a Geni Pro account asking Geni.com to include the Also Known As and Display Name fields in the Add a Person screen.  (Why should users have to remember to go back and update these fields after they've already entered everything else about a person?)
