can I add comments to entries?

I am evaluating this program in order to decide whether or not I want to  become a paid member.  All was going well, even impressively.  But I have not found any way to insert comments.  (Ex.:  In theory, I have exact dates for many of the fields, but I just ran into something that appears contradictory.  I would like to be able to add some annotation about things liker this, plus other information that I have on the people in question.  Also, I don't see a field about where a person lived, as vs. was b., m. or d.)   Is there any way to do such things?  Does this only show up in the paid version?  Thanks
