The family tree is my husband's family. I noticed under my profile, it says I'm an only child. This is incorrect. I'm the oldest child. How do I correct this?

Jeff, Geni Curator And you'll need to add your siblings to the tree using the little yellow arrow on the side of your profile in tree view.

Barbara Grosswald This is my husband's paternal family tree. It is not my family. My siblings don't belong there. I just want my profile to be correct.

Jeff, Geni Curator If you're in it, then it's your family tree too. :) Build it. That's the nature and purpose of Geni - every person invited builds out their family tree. If you're husband doesn't want a collaborative tree, where other build build on it, then Geni might not be the best software - MyHeritage specializes in individual private trees. But back to the question... the software will only determine your order if you have siblings listed. If you have no siblings in Geni, then it lists you as an only child - to define the order, you have to have siblings.

Jeff, Geni Curator I should probably clarify that MyHeritage is the parent company of Geni. So it's our sister family tree site. Geni focuses on the World Tree and collaboration, where MyHeritage focus on individual trees.
