What can a manager do more then other family members?

I have three questions about the manager of a profile:

1. What are the extra actions a manager can do (to a profile) that other family members (who are not the manager of that profile) cannot do?
2. Here it is said that a manager of the profile controls the privacy of that profile:

   However, I can't find anywhere a control of the privacy of an (unclaimed) profile (that I am the manager of), where can I find that?
   To me it seems that I can only control the privacy of deceased family members by editing the profile and checking or unchecking "This is a public profile". But isn't that something other family members can do as well?
3. How can I see in the interface the difference between a manager and a non-manager? In other online systems you can for instance switch roles easily so that you immediately see what other roles see.

I hope somebody can help me out.

  Yes, I can read that. But that doesn't answer my questions really. That only adds another question: what is the difference between a primary manager and a manager in what they can do on geni?

  It is not about one particular profile, it is about all profiles that have a manager (and that are almost all profiles).

  Elka - I think you are absolutely correct.  All managers and all Family Members can set the Privacy of the Profile.

  Offhand - I believe only a manager can click "Actions", then "Manager Options" and THEN be able to request folks be added as Manager of that Profile.

  AND - believe only the Primary Manager can choose, when doing that, to request the person be added as the Primary Manager.

  For Public Profiles which are outside Max Extended Family - Managers (and their collaborators, I think) have more editing rights than other Geni users (ie can edit the fields not yet under Revision control, and change Privacy).

  As to your #3 -- Geni does not have a way to do that.  That is why you could not find it.
