cannot send message to a family member

Just added email addresses into the geni profiles of two family members.

I am able to send and receive messages within geni.com from another family member in geni.com, but I got an error message in geni.com when sending messages to the two newly updated family members. 

Does anyone else have this problem and know the solution?

* The message was able to be sent today. The may have been a 24hr. delay before the updated profile became activated in geni.com

  You can not send email from Geni. You can only use the Geni message system. If you are talking about regular email and they are using Gmail the messages are probably in their Spam box.

  Does it says what kind of error it is? Perhaps a screenshot may help us too. :)

  Have the two newly updated family members joined Geni yet? If not, that is the problem. What error message did you get?
