How do I remove an email address so no notifications will be sent to that person?

  The person can control Geni messages from their account settings, notifications. You can not remove any email addresses if a person has joined Geni.

  Can I delete them then reenter then without an email address?

  If a person has claimed their profile, you have no control over their settings. You can remove some people from your family group from the Actions menu.
