I have created a tree as an owner/paying for a PRO membership. How is it that someone on the tree, not paying, can change her profile to manager of her profile, and thus restrict MY access as the payer? Is there a way to prevent this? I would like to maintain manager status of all of the people I have put on this tree, even if that person can add family members. Is there a way to do that?

Jeff, Geni Curator You can only edit a claimed profile if the person changes the setting in their permissions to allow family members to edit their profiles. While Geni Pro membership gives you some great features, it does not override the privacy and preferences of a user on their own profile. Geni is a collaborative tree - so "my tree" has little meaning. What you're purchasing with Pro membership is Tree Matches, Searching, storage, etc - not control. Here is the account settings, if you'd like to ask them: https://www.geni.com/account_settings/permissions "Let my family edit my profile".
