hi I have some old geni family trees that I want completely delete they have not been delete properly so I am getting double matchs from my old family trees and I whould like to delete this family tree to as I have made many miss takes on it so I can start a new family tree with out getting double or triple matchs from my old family tree

  Graeme, if you can still log into the old trees (using whatever email account you used for them), then just close the account, which should delete tree.  http://help.geni.com/entries/431678-How-do-I-close-my-account-

  In the future, if you need help fixing a mistake in your tree, feel free to reach out to the curators.  No need to create a new tree when we can just fix the error.  http://www.geni.com/discussions/142108
