I got a new computer and the tree listings are much smaller with smaller point size for names than it was on my old computer. I use Google Chrome on both. (I tried making adjustments on "zoom" and settings and get the same size no matter)

Jeff, Geni Curator The zoom on chrome will not change the tree view as it's Adobe Flash. You should see a slider on the left hand side of the tree view that should allow you to scale the size up or down. At the bottom of the tree, you'll see a preference tab, then select Advanced. Under there, you'll see options for increasing the minimum and maximum font size for the tree.

Robert Allan Scrivens None of this helps make those profile boxes any larger. The problem is I've already got the slider on the left all the way up, at max. And yet, the boxes are still smaller than they ever were. I'd like the slightly larger boxes so that a little more information would appear. I'd also like them larger for readability. I've noticed that the program has started to leave out dates entirely sometimes and, which is more annoying, put names down in what amounts to be abbreviations. It looks like these are in profile boxes where an email entry box (entirely unnecessary to have them there) is underneath the name in a living relative.

Jeff, Geni Curator There are additional display options that may help. Click Preferences at the bottom, then "Display". You can uncheck "Show email prompt" or change the Tree Layout to just names, vertical, or another format that better meets your needs. The "Flip Nodes" may be another one - where you hover / click the profile and it provides a flip-card with all the information. You can also go to the "Names" link to change the formatting to better fit. Beyond that, I'm not sure what to suggest. You might be able to zoom flash or the screen itself, but not sure that will help. https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20081109002812AA1HRKL

Robert Allan Scrivens Thanks for your time, Jeff. unchecking the email box was very helpful; it got rid of those abbreviations. I also tried the flip nodes, which I had never tried and liked, but decided I'd like the dates up front. I'm still puzzled by the fact that those boxes aren't that big and yet the slider is set all the way to the max, almost as if it needs recalibrating. And the funny thing is I do remember on my old machine using the same browser that (for a while at least) those boxes were bigger, too big at one point as I recall. Unfortunately, I can't remember anything special I did before the change.

Jeff, Geni Curator Another one that might be helpful is on the names field - uncheck "show middle names".
