My first wife died; we did not get a divorce. Why is "ex-wife" the only option in the relationship section? There should be one that says deceased wife or something similar.

Jeff, Geni Curator I think the commonly accepted term is that she was your wife. So if you mark her as deceased, she'll be your deceased 1st wife, which doesn't preclude you from having a second wife.
