I got an email quite a while ago from one of my second cousins through Geni asking if I was my grandfather, who died in 1973. I asked him what it was about and he told me that one of my other cousins was doing this Geni thing and that I should say yes. Now the program thinks that I am him and won't let me put in his death dates or put myself in in the correct place. He is already connected to many other people, so I can't delete him and then re-enter him (or at least I haven't figured out how to do this). I wrote my cousin about this ages ago and never heard back, so I assume that he doesn't know either, and I don't even have the email of the cousin who apparently started the whole thing. I can't figure out how to correct this mistake, and I don't want to spend ages on it. Meanwhile, I keep getting messages from Geni for my grandfather who died before there was an internet.
