  Hey Steven, sorry for your loss.  It looks like you got this resolved. :)  For anyone else searching and finding this thread, I believe Steven's mother was once a Geni member and he needed to report her as deceased.  http://help.geni.com/entries/20470882-How-do-I-report-a-profile-as-Deceased-
