I just signed iup and am trying to answer some one who is looking for a decendent of my GG grandfather. but when I try to answer her I get I am not in the network. How can I get in tougch with her?

Jeff, Geni Curator Harvey, no, you don't have to pay to contact someone. Is it a discussion thread or are you trying to send them a private message?
